1. Acceptance of Terms

By using TripUs AI, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our app.

2. What We Provide

TripUs AI is a trip planning app that helps you:

• Plan trips with AI assistance
• Coordinate with friends and groups
• Share locations during trips
• Get recommendations for places to visit

3. Your Account

• You must provide accurate information when signing up
• You're responsible for keeping your password safe
• One person per account (no sharing)
• You must be 16 or older to use TripUs AI

4. How to Use TripUs AI

You CAN:

• Plan personal trips
• Share locations with people you trust
• Create groups for trip planning
• Use AI features within daily limits

You CANNOT:

• Use the app for illegal activities
• Harass or harm other users
• Spam or send inappropriate content
• Copy, modify, translate, or create derivative works of the app
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except where expressly permitted by applicable law
• Sell, rent, distribute, sublicense, or make the app available to others
• Use the app to build or assist a competing service
• Remove any proprietary notices from the app

5. Intellectual Property & Ownership

The app, its code, design, structure, sequence, organisation, data models, and all related intellectual property rights are and remain our copyrighted property. No rights are granted to you except those expressly set out in these Terms.

6. Feedback

Any feedback, suggestions, ideas, or improvements you provide ("Feedback") are given voluntarily. You grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable licence to use, reproduce, modify, create derivative works of, distribute, and otherwise utilise that Feedback for any purpose, without restriction or compensation. Feedback you provide is not considered your confidential information.

7. Content & Privacy

• You own your trip data and photos
• We can use anonymous data to improve the app
• Don't share others' personal information without permission
• We may remove content that violates these terms

8. AI Features

• AI suggestions are for planning help only and do not constitute professional travel, safety, or any other advice
• Verify important information independently
• We're not responsible for AI recommendations or their accuracy
• Usage limits may apply

9. Location Sharing

• Location sharing is temporary and voluntary
• You control who sees your location
• Location data auto-deletes after 24 hours
• Only share location with people you trust

10. Paid Features (if applicable)

• Some features may require payment
• Prices are shown before purchase
• Refunds for purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play follow the respective store's refund policies
• Purchases made on our website are processed by Paddle.com as merchant of record; refund requests are handled by Paddle — contact developer@tripus.ai or Paddle support within 14 days of purchase
• We may change prices with notice

11. Third-Party Platforms

Apple: You acknowledge that Apple is not a party to these Terms and bears no responsibility for the app or its content, maintenance, or support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms; upon your acceptance, Apple has the right to enforce them against you.

Google Play: Google is not responsible for the app or any related claims.

12. Our Rights

We may:

• Update or change the app
• Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Change these terms with notice
• Stop operating the app with 30 days notice

13. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

TripUs AI is provided "AS IS". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of US $5 or the amount you paid (if any).

Apple warranty carve-out: In the event any applicable warranty cannot be disclaimed, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); Apple will have no further warranty obligation.

Guides are independent. Tour guides on TripUs are independent third parties — they are not employees, agents, or representatives of TripUs. TripUs makes reasonable efforts to check guides (including a trial period and, where a guide provides one, an automated review of their guide credentials), but TripUs does not and cannot guarantee that any guide is licensed, accredited, insured, qualified, or suitable, and some guides may not be accredited. You use guides and their services at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TripUs is not responsible or liable for the acts, omissions, conduct, qualifications, safety, or services of any guide, or for any loss, injury, damage, or dispute arising from your interaction with a guide. Any arrangement or dispute is solely between you and the guide.

We are not liable for:

• Problems during your trips
• Issues with third-party services
• Lost data (please back up important info)
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• The accuracy of AI-generated recommendations

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms or (b) your negligence or wilful misconduct in using the app.

15. Equitable Relief

Unauthorised use of the app may cause irreparable harm. We reserve the right to seek injunctive or other equitable relief without the obligation to post a bond.

17. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel. Exclusive jurisdiction for any disputes: the competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa.
